ARTIST
Elaine Woo MacGregor is a British-Chinese artist whose practice explores the intersection of heritage, identity, and the modern cityscape. Internationally represented by Cynthia Corbett Gallery, her work is held in major collections across the UK, USA, and Australia.
Following the 2023 RSA Blackadder Houston Mid-Career Travel Award, her current series, Daughters of the Silk Roads, synthesizes ancient narratives with the "Cyberpunk" luminosity of 21st-century China. Elaine lives in Linlithgow and works from her studio at Patriothall, Edinburgh.
